Here is a simple technique to make transparent Gifs with Paint Shop Pro and following the instructions below, you can apply the same technique to text or images. STEP 1 Open a new image ( any size, any color background) and type some text.
STEP 2 Save the image as a gif. Close the image. STEP 3 Reopen the
image. Click on the Dropper Tool STEP 4 Click on

Step 5 Save!
