How to make TRANSPARENT GIFS

Transparent gifs are great for website graphics and headline banners and to match any webpage background color. Here is a simple technique to make transparent Gifs with Paint Shop Pro and following the instructions below, you can apply the same technique to text or images.

STEP 1

Open a new image ( any size, any color background) and type some text.

STEP 2

Save the image as a gif. Close the image.

STEP 3

Reopen the image. Click on the Dropper Tool and right click on the images background. This will set the color palette to match the background color of your image.
