Tip: Play around with all the tools that are situated on the
tool bar and learn the function of each one as they are the main
items that you will always use when creating graphics.

 THE
TOOL PALETTE
Clicking
on any of the Icons on the Tool Palette will activate the function
when you again click on the image you are working on.
For
example, if you want to zoom in on your image, you first click on the Magnifying
Tool,  then you left
click on your image to zoom in. The tool icon will also be displayed at your mouse
cursor when placed over the image. Hovering
your mouse over the tool icon will display a text message telling you what the
tool is. While your mouse pointer is hovering, there will also be a brief description
of the tools function displayed in the browsers status bar. (Bottom left of screen.) To
deselect a particular tool, simply click on another icon. Clicking on the pointer
icon will revert back to the normal mouse pointer with no tool functions selected.
