THE SELECTION TOOL

The Selection Tool is one of the most frequently used tool within PSP.

The selection tool allows you to select areas of your image in shapes that you require. For example, a rectangle or circle.

To use this tool, click on the Selection Tool Icon then click on the Toggle Tool Options Window along the top tool bar.

A window will now popup and you see a Drop Down menu where you can select the shape of selection you require.

Then you simply click in your image at a required point, and while holding the left mouse button down, drag your selection to the required size.
