Paint Shop Pro TutorialPHOTO QUALITY PRINTINGHow to optimize your printer to produce photo quality prints. STEP 1 Open the image you wish to print. Resize as desired. (See exact resizing of images if requiring to save to a frame.) If you are scanning images into your computer, save these images as .tiff or raw format or in the default format of your graphic editor, for example Paint Shop Pro default saves as psp format. This format does not reduce your images DPI and you will get much better printing results. Only save photographs, whether scanned or from your digital camera, as JPEG images if you are using them for website purposes. STEP 2 Click File || Print A box will appear.
STEP 3 Click on your
printer's Properties button and another dialog box will appear.
STEP 4 Under the Setup tab, change the Print Quality to "High", or "Best" (whichever your printer has listed) and change the paper type to be one of the high-gloss selections from the list. Then hit the Okay button. STEP 5 You will then be taken back to the initial dialog box. Just click the Okay button and you will start printing. Results may vary, depending mainly upon the age of the printer.
