If a sheep is left on a barren patch it will begin to cry and eventually die. The more grass the sheep eat, the more milk they create. Look for the milk icon that appears over their heads. When the sheep is ready for milking, click on its head and choose the item you want to make from it. For example, cheese, butter etc. The farmer can hold 2 milk containers at any one time. 2 containers of milk can make butter. 4 containers of milk can make cheese. Cheese is worth more than butter, and butter worth more than milk.
