Monkey Safari game. Similar to Donkey Kong, but better. Play Monkey Safari online for free. Quick 2 minute game you can play time and time again. Enjoyable and challenging enough to keep you amused.

Monkey Safari Game

Monkey Safari is a game that reminds me a little of Donkey Kong. For the most part because of the monkey / ape and the way it moves. Game play is very easy, you simply use your keyboard arrow keys to run around and catch all the falling banana's. Press the UP key to jump and the DOWN arrow to crouch / squat. Each game lasts only two minutes, so is great for a quick break, or young kids who's attention span is very short.

Quick Hint: At first I was jumping over all the bad guys, then realized I could press the down arrow to crouch under the stinging bee's. Although you have to time it perfectly as there's sure to be a falling banana to catch, or an angry dog to avoid soon after.

Game design plan from a developers point of view

Design plans are recommended to ensure game creators have a clear objective in mind before they start to code the actionscript (Adobe Flash). Shown below is an example of how to make a design plan if you wanted to create a kids game similar to 'Monkey Safari'.

Note: This is not the design plan the developer of this kids game used when making this online game. It's merely a reverse-engineer of a game design plan based on my experiences as a player.
