This free online game is like a mathematical version of lighting up a Christmas tree in time for the holiday season. It's a simple game everyone will enjoy playing.The objective is to rotate the wires and bulbs by mouse clicking them. When you have a match, they will light up.
To be honest, it is extremely challenging and I'm yet to finish the game. However, it does keep me amused for hours, so therefore is a game I return to often. The only disadvantage I can see, is that there is no Christmas music playing in the background. Personally, I would have found this relaxing and pleasing to the ear, not to mention help putting players in the holiday spirit! Other than that, the Christmas / Xmas Tree Puzzle game is highly recommended.

Scenario / World: The game scenario consists of a single Christmas tree.
Mode: Single Player. However, you can submit your highest score against other Internet players.
Objectives: Light up the Christmas tree by connecting all the wires and light bulbs.
Characters: No characters as such. Only a graphical Christmas tree.
Audio / visual aesthetics:
- Graphics contain a very simple Christmas tree, vector style drawing.
- Unfortunately there is no background music. Personally I would have liked to have had the choice of listening to Christmas music while playing the puzzle game. There is sound however, when you click and rotate the electrical wires and bulbs.

Itemization of game elements:
The introduction screen displays four options:
- START - begins the game
- Wall Of Fame - displays Internet player high scores
- Play More Games - takes you to the developers full list of Flash games they have created.
- This Game On Your Web site - gives the player the html code if they wish to add the game to their own web site
Pressing the 'START' option gives the player a short run down on the game instructions.
Once in the game, the player will see a vector style Christmas tree with wires and bulbs that can be rotated by clicking on them.
The top GUI (graphical user interface) displays:
- A 'Time' setting, or rather how long the game has been running in seconds.
- A help icon that takes you back to the instructions. When viewing the instructions., the time continues to run in the background.
- An option to turn the sound on or off.
