Big City Adventure Games - Play Big City Adventure San Francisco online for free
Big City Adventure games like this San Francisco one are very popular with gamers. It starts off on the infamous island of Alcatraz where you as the player, have to find numerous objects hidden within a holding cell, in a set time limit of 5 minutes. Find all the hidden objects, and you progress to the next level. No doubt, one of the finest hidden object games I've played.
What makes this hidden object game stand out amongst others, is that it isn't so hard that it's impossible to find the objects, yet is still challenging enough to keep your interest. It's also not as frustrating to play as others, in that if your time limit runs out before you've found all the hidden objects, you're given the chance to play that level again, only this time with a while different set of objects. Others I've played simply end the game and make you start all over again from the beginning. The re-playability is also high with each new game giving you a whole different set of objects to play. No game is ever the same as the last.

Quick hints and tips on how to play the game - Big City Adventure San francisco

Game design plan from a developers point of view
Creating a game design plan is always recommended to ensure the creator has a clear objective in mind before they start to code the actionscript (Adobe Flash). The example of a game plan shown below will be used for discussion purposes within our Adobe Flash tutorials that we will be starting in the near future.
Note: This is not the design plan the developers of Big City Adventure San francisco used when making this hidden object game. It's merely a reverse-engineer of a game design plan based on my experiences as a player.
