to Make Mercury Text
Here's
another psp text effect that you can apply to make your webpages look great. The
mercury text tutorial is very easy to follow and surprisingly quick. 
Step
1
Open a new image.
200x100
White background
16 million colors
Step 2 
Click on the Text Tool 
and enter some text. Make the fill color Light Blue.
Step
3 
Press Keyboards "CTRL plus H" and feather the text selection
by 3 pixels.
Step

Set Color Pallettes Foreground to White Apply
Hot Wax Coating
Effects>Artistic Effects>Hot Wax Coating
Sharpen after Hot wax coating.
Effects>Sharpen>Sharpen More
Step 5 
Repeat Step 4
Step 6
Convert color to Grey Scale.
Colors>Grey Scale
Sharpen More.
Effects>Sharpen>Sharpen
More
Step 7
Deselect Text and Save As.
