to make a gold navigation menu bar
Folow
this psp tutorial and make great looking gold navigation bars. You could change
the color to whatever you need to suit your own website's navigation. This
is a graphic intense tutorial as screenshots have been used to make it easier
to follow. We have split the tutorial into 2 parts to facilitate page loading
times. Please follow the link after step 6 to continue the tutorial. Step
1 Open
a new image 500
x 50, 16 million color document Foreground color = White. Step

Draw a Rounded Rectangle using the "Selection" tool  Selection
Type = Rounded Rectangle Feather = 0 Anti-alias = checked

Select the "Flood Fill" tool
and fill the area with Linear Gradient using the following settings:
Fill Style = Linear Gradient
Blend Mode = Normal
Paper Texture & Match Mode = None
Opacity = 100
Sample Merged = NOT checked
Under
the "Styles Options" tab. Foreground-Background Gradient
Angle = 180 Repeats = 1

Step

Click on Colors>Colorize (Hue=30 Saturation=200)
(You can
play around with the Hue and Saturation until you have a color that suits
your taste.)

Click on Selections>Modify>Contract (Pixels
= 5)

6 Flood
Fill the selection
with Linear Gradient as in Step 3 but have the settings as: Foreground-Background
Gradient Angle = 180 Repeats = 0 When Gradient Fill applied
click on Colors>Colorize (Hue=30 Saturation=200)
