Restoring Faded Photos

Paint Shop Pro makes it easy for you to touch up photos that are not quite the right shade for you. This is simple and takes only a few seconds using PSP's inbuilt features.

Here is an example of what can be done to a photo that has gone yellow with age. Brings it back like new!

Here's how you do it!

Open up your image.

Click on
Effects>Enhance Photo

Then simply play around with the Automatic Color Balance, Auto Contrast Enhancement, Auto Saturation Enhancement and anything else you wish to try.

If something you try is not quite what you wanted, don't forget the good old Undo Tool.

Most of the time the default settings will suffice and give you a great result.

Sharpen your image when finished if required.
