Corel Paint Shop Pro Tutorial - Part 2 of how to make cloud images with the PSP paint brush. Click here for part 1 STEP 7 Change the Color Palette Foreground Color from Gradient to Solid Color. Set the Background color to Black.
Right click on your image to spray some dark clouds around the sky. Left click to spray some white clouds. Let your creative talents flow, overlapping clouds, making large clouds and small clouds. Clicking twice on some clouds will make them darker. When you are satisfied with your cloud formation, you can use the Layer Palette opacity slide bar to lighten the clouds if required. You could even apply a light Gaussian Blur to soften the clouds.
Merge the layers and then add a New Raster Layer.
Select
the Draw Tool
STEP 11 Starting at roughly the center of the cloud bank, draw white triangular lines down the image as shown.
Apply
a Guasian Blur Filter Radius = 4.7
Click
on the Toggle Layers Palette
Slide the Opacity bar to around 50% to give the image a great "Sunrays" look. You are done.
