TUTORIAL. THE CLONE BRUSH

The
Clone Brush is used to copy all or part of an image to another location within
the same image or to another image.
You Right-click to select the image or part of the image to be
cloned. Left-click to place the cloned image.
When using the Clone Brush, the Aligned setting causes
each succeeding click of the mouse to paint an additional portion of the original
image. The Non-aligned setting, causes each succeeding click of
the mouse to repeat the area of the image captured when the source was selected.
Holding
down the mouse button while dragging across an image will paint the cloned
image to the canvas.
Here's an
example of how you can use the Clone Brush.

We will blend the little Angel into the Rainbow picture..

STEP
1 Open
each image in PSP. Click
on the rainbow image and add a New Layer so you can move the cloned selection
into place if required. Layers || New Raster Layer. STEP
2 Click
on the Angel image to make it the Active Selection. Select the
Clone Brush
Click on
the Toggle Tool Options Window .
Apply your required settings.
Play
around with the settings to get a feel for what you can do. If you lessen
the opacity setting, it will make the merged image seem more transparent.
Reducing the size will select a smaller portion of the graphic, for example,
if you want just the face you would try the size around 50. STEP
3
Right Click
on the Angel.
Left click on your image.
Here is the
Angel image that has cloning applied within the same image.
