Two types of calorie counters
There are two different
types of free online calorie counters to use on your health and fitness
website. One tallies the calories burned during exercise, while the other
adds the amount of calories eaten for any given day. In other words, one
is a daily food calorie counter and the other is an exercise calorie counter.
Both are important tools to help develop a balanced fitness and diet program.
Exercise calorie counter by
Chris Buskirk
The first calorie
counter shown below calculates how many calories you have burned depending
on your weight and how many miles you have run. Health studies have shown
that heavier people burn more calories when they are exercising, than
lighter people. Hence the reason you need to type your current weight
into the exercise calorie calculator below.

Food calorie calculator
(counter) by LabPixies
Demonstrated below
is one of the best calorie calculators I've seen for counting calories
based on what you ate for breakfast, lunch, dinner and treats. Firstly
use the 'settings' link to save your age, gender, weight, height and activity
level. This will find your recommended daily calorie allowance and display
it along the top.
Then add each food
item you've eaten for the day and the calorie calculator will automatically
display the total of calories eaten. For example, clicking on the breakfast
tab will give you a choice of main dish, side dish, toppings, deserts,
dairy and beverages. If you click on main dish, you can then add cerial,
sausages, egg and ham etc to your menu. Whereas if you clicked on beverages,
you can add tea, coffee, juice etc. You should then notice along the top,
it adds up all the calories eaten. Furthermore it also subtracts the calories
you've eaten off your recommended daily allowance so you can see if your
on track to a healthy diet.
Add this food
calorie counter to your health and fitness or diet website. Choose
your settings and colors then copy and paste the code to your webpage.
