VMware Fusion works on MAC OS X Snow Leopard with this fix

VMware Fusion now working fine on Mac OS X Snow Leopard with this upgrade

When first installing Mac OS X Snow Leopard, you may find VMware Fusion runs a tad slow or sluggish. Especially if you have an early version of VMware as I did.

To fix this problem, go to http://www.vmware.com/download/fusion/ and download the latest version. It's a free upgrade if you have already purchased it earlier.

To upgrade, simply download the dmg file and run it to install over the top of the previous version. There is no need to uninstall the earlier one. All your settings etc will stay the same and won't be changed. The only difference, is that it will now be more stable and run smoothly under Mac OS X Snow Leopard.

VMware release notes found here http://www.vmware.com/support/fusion2/doc/releasenotes_fusion_205.html mentions that the current version provides experimental support for Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard. Like many companies, they are still finding and fixing any problems as they occur. Therefore it is recommended that you revisit their website often to read about the latest fixes.

For now, I can vouch personally that on my MAC, VMware is running very smoothly on OS X Snow Leopard.
