GoLive Tutorial For Beginners
This four part tutorial is for those new to GoLive, who need information to help them get a website up and running as quickly as possible. It demonstrates step by step how to start a new website from scratch. You don't need to have a webhost to follow this tutorial. Your website files will be saved to your computers hard drive and viewed from there until your ready to go live.
Before starting to make your first website, it's a good idea to firstly plan your site. For example save any images you want to use to your hard drive and write down on paper a rough plan that contains how many pages you need and what you want to call each page.
Advantages of using GoLive

What I like most about the book is that the authors don't just list the features and point out where they are in the program. They explain in detail why you may want to use them and how to incorporate them into your Web design projects. The book is organized by topic, so you can browse through the tips you think would be most helpful to you. Otherwise, the index makes it easy to look up information about features you may not be sure how to use. While this is a "Tips" book, it can definitely serve as a helpful learning reference as well.
